  driving by this place in the day you would probably never know it was there if you weren't a local but this spot is the place to be in town every weekend night. just like the name says this place is a basement. you walk down the stairs and expect to find a little hole in the wall bar bu the place is pretty big. on the busy nights they can put over two hundred people in the bar and even still have a bit of room to move around. the two biggest things that make this bar stand out from the other bars in cheney are the atmospere and overall pricing on their drinks. there are only 4 bars in cheney and 3 of them for the most part look exactly the same beer signs on the walls a bunch of pool tables and older locals who look like they pretty much planted roots there. the basement is different when you walk in you see a lounge to the right and to the left is what the owners call the pit. it has a few table against the rail a few more in the back and a fair sized dance floor with raised go go stages and poles for the customers brave enough to show off their dance skills. on the walls you will see murals and other pieces of art that the owners have made themselves. behind the bar you will always find one of not both of the owners pouring drinks and chatting up the customers. these two guys are not your typical bar owners. they like to get their hands dirty and be at their spot evey night to make sure they the customers have a great time. if you come in early enough and catch them when its slow they will use you as a tester for new drinks they whip up or they will shoot a game of pool with you.
  
  now the drink prices i think are most impotant. they are hands down the cheapest bar in town and you get a pretty decent pour for what you pay. on top of the already low prices they run special like half off everything till 1130 three nights a weeks and $3 man mugs on wednesdays.
  
  this bar might not be for everyone, but no bar really is. if your looking for a good time while your an eastern student and dont want to drive home drunk form spokane though this is your best option.

  This is my favorite bar in Cheney. The people that work there are great, and the value proposition is pretty unbelievable - half off drinks until 11:30 a couple nights a week? Drinking there is cheaper than anywhere else in town!
  
  The staff do a great job of dressing the place up for holidays and special occasions too. Halloween is a treat.
  
  Sometimes it does get crowded and there's a line, and the bathroom facilities aren't the best in the world (although they're comparable to local competition). This place is still where I spend my nights.
